Celtics, Lakers history
The Celtics and the Laker sort of have a history together something like the Yankees and Red Sox in baseball or Bears and Packers in football. The late stars of the teams Magic Johnson of the Lakers and Larry Bird of the Celtics carried their franchises with the help of other key players. The 1984 finals agianst the Celtics and Lakers was one of the most epic 7 games ever. After watching a clip of the games and how the players were feeling about each other at the time was insane. It started as a simple rivalry between the two with the Lakers taking the first game. After it got to about round 4 you could see the emotions building up in the players the Celtics were afraid their trophy was slipping away, the fouls became personal attacks players started fights and other confrontations. When it came down to game 6-7 at the Boston Garden were it was so hot and the Lakers could not bear the heat. This slowed down the fast pace Lakers allowing Celtics to beat them in game 6. In game 7 the Celtics played real hard as the LAkers did to but in the end the Boston Celtics became the 1984 champs. Now history repeats itself and it is happening agian. Game 1 begins Thursday 8:30 LAL at BOS

Celtics Vs Lakers

The Celtics have beaten the Detroit Pistons to go on to the next round which will be the finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. This is a historical moment in history for both teams going back to 1984 and the rivalry that these two teams has had in the past. This is really stretching out to be one of the best finals in a while. Everyone expected the usual teams like the San Antonio
Spurs or the Pistons to go to the finals like always but this a huge surprise. Each team has become really great teams especially being compared to their previous years where they have been in a slump. This should be a great match-up and history will be written all over after this is finished.

Boston vs Detroit

The Boston Celtics have played there first game agianst the Detroit Pistons last night coming away with a win 88-79 at there home court, with not even a week of rest. This gives them a early lead in the series and 2 games closer to going to the finals. Although Celltics last game Paul Pierce came out hot, this game he only scored half the points he scored game 7 agianst Cavaliers, but this game "Big Ticket" Kevin Garnett came out steaming. It was a head to head clash between big men with Rasheed Wallace putting on a clinic. Kevin Garnett picked up were his team lacked scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds giving the Celtics there 15th straight home game win. Paul Pierce also came into double figures scoring 22 points. The big question to you fellow bloggers who are interested in the Celtics, where is Ray Allen? Two of the three stars are always the main highlight of these previous games but what about Ray Allen , is he just being used for the big shots? On the other end of the court the Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace put up a battle with KG with some tuff defense. Tayshaun Prince scored 16 points and Antonio McDyess scored 14 points with 11 boards. Thursday night is the next Boston home game, where Boston will take an early 2-0 lead.
